Ingredients

  1. 2 1/4 cupAP flour
  2. 1/4 tspbaking soda
  3. 1/4 tspsalt
  4. 1 cupunsalted butter ( 2 sticks ) at room temperature
  5. 1 cupgranulated sugar
  6. 1/2 cuplight brown sigar
  7. 1 largeegg
  8. 1 tspcream or whole milk
  9. 1 tspvanilla extract
  10. 1 1/2 cupsemi sweet chocoate chips

Cooking Instructions

    Preheat oven to 350. Line cookie sheets with parchmemt paper.

    Combine flour, baking soda and salt in a bowl.

    In another large bowl combine butter and sugars, beat until light and fluffy, add egg, cream and vanilla,beat in. Add flour mixture and ix just until it holds together, mix in chocolate chips.

    Roll into 1 inche balls, place on cookie sheet with a bit of space between each, press each ball with the palm of your had or a glass to flatten inti circle.

    Bake 10 to 20 minutes dependig on how big you make them. They are done when lighr golden. Cool on wire racks.

“Fenway” passed away on 2/3/2021. For the last year she tried to teach her husband of 42 years how to cook like her. Although I will never be as good of a cook as her she did pass on her passion for cooking. Therefore, I will attempt to carry on her legacy and maintain/update her site. My wife was a Registered Nurse, a licensed deep water aerobics instructor, a mother to our 2 children and a fantastic cook. We grew up in New England but have been fortunate to live all over the US. I am now retired, missing her terribly, but thankful for all the years we had together and all her cooking lessons.
