Just get tired of the same ole same ole. When I was a kid I was watching an episode of "Gomer Pyle, USMC" and he made bacon by frying in a pan then while it was set aside but still hot sprinkled sugar on top I tried it loved it as I got older I started deglazing with white wine so here it is hipe you enjoy!

Ingredients

  1. 1 cupsmokey bacon
  2. 1/4 cupwhite wine, I used sweet potatoe wine
  3. 1 tspsugar
  4. 1 tspbrown sugar, light

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Fry and crisp bacon when the fatty part of bacon is not quite rendered deglaze the pan with wine

  2. 2

    The liquids will leave the pan quickly stir constantly remove from heat when rendered

  3. 3

    Add to a container with tight lid add sugar on top close lid shake well let sit 10 minutes enjoy
