Butternut squash, pecan sauté

Ingredients

6 servings
  1. 2 1/4 lbbutternut squash
  2. 2 tbspbutter
  3. 1/4 tspsalt
  4. 1/4 tspground black pepper
  5. 1 pinchground cinnamon
  6. 1 tbsphoney
  7. 1 cuppecans

Cooking Instructions

    Toast the pecans and set aside.

    Peel and slice the butternut squash.

  3. 3

    Heat a pan melt butter. Add the squash and sauté, 5 minutes. Add cinnamon, salt, and pepper. Mix well sauté for 10 minutes, till squash is tender, stirring occasionally.

    Add pecans and honey incorporate well.

  5. 5

    After 2 minutes, remove from heat, let sit 5 minutes. Serve hope you enjoy!
