HayStacks
So easy to make. My teen made this Batch , so they are big ones ... we let them harden on the table, not in a rash to eat them. ( easy for the kids to make around Christmas time, and can be sent out for gifts to family and friends)

Hawaiian Haystack
A friend made this dish and it pleases everyone! Use leftover ingredients, or for big groups. Use whatever toppings you can think of. This dish sounds and looks gross but it's delicious and everything works out.

Hobo Beans
I make these for father's day and BBQ get togethers...All the men in our family love them.

Ham & Beans
A sweet start with a bite at the end. You will never eat regular ham and bean soup again!

Morgie's Super Stacker Pancakes
Someone special taught me how to make these when I was 15yrs old. After that I would make them every saturday morning for years. Now I make them only as a special treat for special people in my life to eat.

Apple Pie Slab something or other
I don't have a pie dish apparently but I do have tons of baking pans, so that's how this came about. Pie crust recipe is from Emmymadeinjapan's Apple Tart, which is also slightly adapted from Alice Water's Pâte Brisée. The filling & crumble was me just eyeballing things :)

JBs Hot Pockets
I was hungry and got some nice buns from the farmers market and stuffed them with stuff I had in the fridge. They came out amazing and they are very versatile you can stuff them with anything you like. Enjoy!!!

Hot cocoa bar
Every winter I make a hot cocoa bar to start up our holidays . Well i lost or they broke idk Christmas containers idk 🤷♀️. So I did it this way . Will say if you have to bring something or entertain little ones around the holidays , this would be it on the go version, just pack it up and put it out on a counter top or table and everyone can enjoy a nice cup of bougie hot chocolate. ( also would make for a great DIY gift for the holidays for anyone, all kinds of hot cocoa stuff and they get to keep the container)Hot cocoa bars are very popular and now they make so much stuff for them you can go all out and have a luxury or bougie hot chocolate.I normally make my own mix but didn’t this year I wanted easy and convenient.2024

Sweet potato maple bacon hash
I created this recipe after my nephew Evan brought back some spices from Africa, the journey for my taste buds has been great. If you do not have Mitmita then you can use a little cayenne pepper. Thanks Evan.

potato fan
needed recipes to use up potatoes I grew, this 1 qualifies as a keeper forsure. I use Russetts, Yukon gold and Pontiacs. the Russetts came in first followed by Pontiacs, yukon gold were a little bit dry but OK.

Hamburger & Taters
This is one of my mother in laws recipes. this is what they call it and it’s been passed down through many generations of her family here in central Florida. It’s the easiest and heartiest of meals. When we don’t know what we want, we have this. It’s so good with peas and cornbread. It’s nothing spectacular but then again it is!!

Big pot of caldo.
My mama always makes this on cold days . And now so do I. My family loves it, and I hope yours will to. Enjoy. If you don't have a lot of people to feed make a small pot just add spices the same way only in less amounts to taste .

Nest Cakes
This is a combination of two brilliant ideas: Leslie Water's brownies for kids and Felicity Cloake's 'How to make a perfect Fridge Cake' in the Guardian newspaper (UK). I adapted them both, and put one on top of the other in the form of a cuckoo's nest. Just in time for Spring!

Pancakes
Pancakes are like fluffy crepes. You can find special syrup (maple syrup) in stores to pour over them. Otherwise, a little honey with cinnamon will do the trick. They make a very tasty and nutritious breakfast.Of course, you can accompany them with whatever you like, such as Nutella, jams, tahini, or even something savory like cheese or ham. They can be made with all types of flour, but I recommend strong flour because I think it makes them very fluffy!Other secrets: You can add ingredients to this batter and bake them. For example, you can add cheese or bacon to the batter and make savory pancakes with filling. In the Netherlands, they do it this way and you get a whole meal.

Homity Pie
Homity Pie is a traditional British open vegetable pie. The pastry case contains a filling of potatoes and an onion and leek mixture, which is then covered with cheese. In this version, I also add spinach and extra cheese!!

Special Potatoes
My nephew dubbed these potatoes ‘special potatoes’ 30 years ago. Every time he came to my house, this is what he wanted with supper. I’m still making them. It came out of stewed potatoes. When I want something similar to the center of a baked potato, but don’t want to wait that long to bake it, I make these. Use a thin skinned potato that you don’t have to peel or peel your potatoes. It’s up to you!

Bobs Baked Beans
Inspired by American shows like Diners, Drivers and Drives. I threw this together on a whim. Some assembly required.Turned out nice. Hope you enjoy

Beans on rice
Like many people, I have a weak spot for good fried chicken. And from among the major outlets, my favourite is Popeye's. Honestly, though, it's not their delicious chicken alone that puts them over the top; it's their red beans and rice. Something about that little side dish of smushed beans and savoury sauce soaking into fluffy rice just speaks to me. So I decided to make my own. I didn't try to make an exact copy, and mine's also a little less watery than theirs (my only nitpick). But I think it came out just as delicious and comforting at the end.

Potato Skins
This is a very old recipe, that I kinda was , do I want to put this on here...?! So happens to be how a rib house made their famous potatoes skins , the place is no longer in business in my area, and hadn’t been for years , but iam sure other restaurants make them this way.... so that’s the backstory on that lol... there is a 3 step process in cooking these, they can be time consuming... but so worth it I promise lol 😂, If I know iam making these ahead of time I will do the first 5 ( it’s really only making bake potatoes , scooping and freezing) steps and freeze them overnight, other times it’s last minute and I freeze them for just a few hrs . Smaller potatoes work best for this, it’s a great way to use up them small potatoes that are just to small for bake potatoes 🥔. ( this recipe is one of the first recipe I made when I got into cooking, and could make very well iam famous lol for making these lol I never gave away my how to until now.

Bean, White Corn And Pepper Salsa
This salsa is always a hit wherever I take it! It's super easy and good with everything. The ingredients can be adjusted as you like. Enjoy!

Beignets
I love waking up with a sweet breakfast morning during the Thanksgiving and Xmas season. Whether it is a Dutch Baby, a simple set of waffles or these lovely Beignets. I know I don't need to travel to Café Du Monde at New Orleans to taste these Beignets, I can simply make these in my home kitchen. So can you!Beignet is actually a deep fried choux pastry which is popular in France, but somehow it found its way into New Orleans and eventually evolved into a donut served with icing sugar. Beignets are often served with café au lait, a French coffee with milk.Tho I am not a donut person, but this just blow me away. They are light, fluffy and crispy at the same time unlike the greasy, overly sweet and dense donuts. I love having these Beignets with my strawberry compote. You can of cos serve them as it is or with any homemade or store-bought high quality compote or jam. You can my homemade compote recipe here. I hope you can give this recipe a try and have breakfast in bed not just during the Thanksgiving or Xmas season, but on every other morning.

Loaded Mashed Potatoes
I have always wanted to try this! Potatoes are my favorite food so I love finding new ways to prepare them!

Honey Cream Coiled Rolls
I uploaded a honey bread dough recipe, so I figured I should use that to make something.Just using ingredients on hand can make such a satisfying product.I think kids will absolutely love these.Since it's such a soft dough, it's necessary to dust with flour. It's probably going to be a little hard to work with, but that's what makes it so soft and moist, so do your best.Whether freshly baked or sitting out for some time, these sweet rolls are moist and fluffy. My Apple Pie
Now that it's getting colder, it's the season for pie. And when I think of Jonathan apples that means one thing, apple pie. I'm not very good at using normal flaky pastry and the apples get soggy, so I always bake the apples first and make the pie like this.If the pastry becomes too soft while carrying out these steps then please continue doing them while chilling the pastry in the fridge. The amount of apples you will need will change according to the size of the pie and apples. This pie isn't so sweet, so please adjust the sugar amount to make it sweeter if you wish. Stovetop rotel cream cheese corn
This is the stovetop version of my corn, I didn't have time for my crockpot version. This was just a quick and easier version this time!

Peanut Green Beans
Sesame green beans is one of the classics among the Japanese home food recipes. Because of its commonness, easily overlooked, but one of my childhood favourites. For the French literary great Marcel Proust, the elixir of memories of his childhood might have been a petite madeleine, but that wouldn't work on Japanese-bred me. What I needed was that nutty flavoured light sweet green beans tucked into a corner of my bento box.Instead of going through the long processes of roasting and grinding sesame seeds in a Japanese mortar and pestle, which are the essential efforts to impart their nice robust flavor, I wanted a simple and easy shortcut on a whim. I am tempted to use peanuts butter instead. The peanuts butter version tastes a bit flat so that I should mash up a little garlic to give it some dimension when I go that route.

Smoked bbq baked beans
I needed something to do with my leftover Easter Ham... A few days after Easter I make potato salad, ( because I had leftover Colored Easter eggs see smoked potato salad recipe.) and hot dogs , this year I found away to use my ham in some baked beans. Yes I also smoked my hotdogs, look for that recipe coming up soon. So I had a cook out just a few days after Easter that has slowly became Family tradition just to uses most of the Easter leftovers ,this year I changed it and used the smoker instead.

Warming Burdock Root Soup & Crisps
Try a different way other than a kimpira-style dish for cooking burdock roots.Children who usually do not like burdock roots might like this soup.Summer vegetables such as tomatoes and lettuce, tropical fruits such as bananas and kiwis, dairy products and refined sugar--these are all foods that cool you down. These, on the other hands, tend to warm you up: root vegetables such as burdock roots, carrots, beans, hijiki seaweed, miso and sesame seeds. In modern times people tend to feel the cold. Improve your body system with healthy, natural ingredients that have been around from ancient times. Recipe by pogue

Dangerously Good Oatmeal Maple Cookies
I read in a book that cookies made with oatmeal are crunchy. These really are!The trick is to spread them thinly. That's it. When they're done, they'll have a crunchy texture. They're not so sweet, so if you'd prefer them sweeter, add sugar. If it's difficult to get the dough to come together, try adding a tablespoon of water. Recipe by Meifan

Swamp Soup
I don’t have a picture of my soup. The reason it’s called Swamp Soup is cuz it looks like something you’d find in the swamp, kinda grassy, with chunks and bits. It goes great with some cornbread. It’s best if cooked with fresh ingredients, but if they’re not available frozen and canned will do in a pinch. #GoldenApron23
