I didn't have many ingredients or a meatloaf seasoning so I had once made these as hamburger patties until my husband pointed out it had more of a "meatloaf " texture and taste!

My kids love when I make this and just can't get enough. I took my mom's recipe and jazzed it up a lot. I live in a humid environment so sometimes I need to add more or less breadcrumbs depending on the weather. I recommend using a serrated knife to cut it when finished, it helps to keep the bacon attached to the slices.
