#5ingPlums are all around the corner these days, so what better would it be to get refreshed and rejuvenated by enjoying a glass of chilled Plum Mocktail this summer.

Eggnog is similar to a Japanese egg sake, but I made a non-alcoholic hot mocktail. It's enjoyable for children and warms the body. The origin of this recipe: Eggnog is often enjoyed during the Christmas season. I learned this from overseas friends and decided to make it non-alcoholic.

This recipe is adapted from James's recipe. It's a delightful blend of Taiwanese and Japanese flavors. The sour, aromatic, sweet, and bitter notes make it a refreshing treat for hot summer days.Myo-ga is an aromatic vegetable occasionally seen in Japanese cuisine. It's a love-it-or-hate-it ingredient, and I quite enjoy it.*You can use regular beer with alcohol if preferred.

But I'm still working on it so that I can emulate the creamy texture of the original.-The ratio of Mickey's face to his ears should be 2:1 if you're going for a cuter look. The authentic Mickey has ears almost the size of his face, however, so you can adjust the ratio as you like.-To bring out the bright yellow of the yolk, you should lay a cut sheet of parchment paper on the surface of the egg before you boil it. Best summer drink. Had it at a friends house but he made his with ginger ale. And I think called it a Castro. This however is how they made it in Penticton with signature vodka. I like it with white rum much better. Double the recipe as this is just for one person.
