Ingredients

25 mins
4 servings
  1. 2Boneless Skinless Chicken Breasts
  2. 2 cupSpiced Apple Cider
  3. 1 tspDried thyme
  4. 1/2 tbspDried Sage
  5. 2 tbspUnsalted butter

Cooking Instructions

25 mins
  1. 1

Marinate chicken in apple cider for a minimum of 30 minutes. Reserve liquid.

  2. 2

Heat pan over medium heat and add butter.

  3. 3

    Once melted, add chicken.

  4. 4

With chicken in pan, season the side facing up with the thyme and sage. (At this point I also added a handful of whole cranberries to the pan, but that is entirely optional).

  5. 5

Cook chicken until a nice sear has formed and it is golden brown. Flip and cook the other side. (This time will depend on the thickness of your chicken)

  6. 6

Once both sides are browned, add reserved apple cider to pan and cover. Reduce heat to medium low and allow to simmer until apple cider reduces and forms a thick sauce (about 8-10 minutes)

  7. 7

Serve chicken with apple cider reduction as a sauce. Pairs perfectly with my Rosemary Roasted Sweet Potatoes.
