Ingredients

8 servings
  1. beef
  2. 2 lbground beef
  3. 1 tspseasoned salt
  4. 1/4 tspground black pepper
  5. 1 tspminced garlic
  6. 1/2 cupgrated parmesan cheese
  7. 2 tbsptomato paste
  8. squash
  9. 2 lbyellow crooknecked squash
  10. 1 mediumonion, chopped
  11. cream cheese mixture
  12. 8cream cheese
  13. 1 1/2 tbspchives in oil
  14. 1 largeegg
  15. topping
  16. 1 1/2 cupshredded extra sharp cheddar cheese

Cooking Instructions

    Slice the squash and chop the onions

  2. 2

    Preheat oven 425° Fahrenheit

  3. 3

    Brown the beef with half the salt, pepper, and all the garlic. Set aside the beef retain the juices.

    Heat the juices add the onions, rest of seasoned salt, pepper, and squash. Fry till caramelized.

    Mix the parmesan cheese, tomato paste, and cooked ground beef.

  6. 6

    Make sure cream cheese is soft. Mix chives, beaten egg, and cream cheese.

  7. 7

    In a deep pie pan add the ground beef mixture till bottom is covered. Add a layer of cream cheese mixture.

    Add the squash onion mixture on top of cream cheese mixture. Add the rest of beef and cover with shredded cheddar cheese. .

    Bake 15-20 minutes. Let rest 5 minutes. Serve I hope you enjoy!

    If you have leftover squash serve on the side.
