Rice cooker Cod

This makes a fast 20 Minutes complete meal. Perfect for small families, or single people.
Cooking Instructions
- 1
Wash rice until water is clear. Add to rice cooker, and follow rice cookers directions to cook rice. You may add vegetables, but be sure to accommodate with a bit more liquid.
- 2
While rice is cooking prep fish by seasoning and placing on foil covered steam rack that comes with rice cooker. If your rice cooker doesn't have one, just use foil, and fold sides to prevent oil from leaking out onto rice while streaming.
- 3
Place fish on rack during the last two to three minutes of rice cook time. Cover, and cook. If you don't have a rack fold sides of foil and place directly on top of rice. How many minutes will be determined by the size of your filet.
- 4
When timer goes off carefully remove fish from on top of rice, scoop out desired amount of rice, and lay your filet over rice. Serve with your choice of vegetables, and additional seasoning.

Rice Cooker Shrimp Pilaf Rice Cooker Shrimp Pilaf
I've always bought frozen shrimp pilaf since I liked it so much, even if I had a lot of rice on hand. If you make your own pilaf it's a lot more economical.Use 1 stock cube for every 2 rice cooker cups of rice.If you stir fry the rice until it's translucent, the grains will stay separate when cooked. You can use fresh shrimp instead of frozen.I've salted this lightly, so if you want it to be saltier add 1 teaspoon of salt.
