Chicken squash noodles soup

I was craving for noodles soup for quite a while and I was thinking of cooking the recipe my girlfriend thought me before. She uses egg noodles for her recipe but since I cannot find any egg noodles, I tried using angel hair pasta and it was a good substitute. Those who likes soup noodles with the flavor of chicken and the sweetness of squash, this is a good recipe for you.

She uses egg noodles for her recipe but since I cannot find any egg noodles, I tried using angel hair pasta and it was a good substitute. Cooking Instructions
- 1
Add a little amount of chopped onions, chopped garlic, salt and pepper to the chicken and squash in separate containers. Let rest for at 15-30 minutes to lock in flavors.
- 2
Cook the angel hair pasta based on the instructions.
- 3
Once the angel hair is cooked, drain the noodles and set aside (but don't throw the water).
- 4
Saute the remaining garlic and onions in a separate pan. Once the garlic and onions are ok, add the chicken.
- 5
Add salt, pepper and the water from where the angel hair was cooked based on your personal preferrence. Bring to a boil. (I like minimal liquid in my soup so I don't put all the water in the chicken).
- 6
Once the chicken is cooked, add the squash to the pan and cook for about 15 minutes or until the squash is cooked based on your preference.
- 7
Add the noodles to the pan where you're cooking the chicken. Add chicken broth cubes or chicken stock if needed to further enhance the taste.
- 8
Add thickeners (like flour or corn starch) to thicken the soup.
- 9
Last but not the least. Enjoy.

Warm and Comforting Kabocha Squash Houtou (Udon Noodle Soup) Warm and Comforting Kabocha Squash Houtou (Udon Noodle Soup)
I couldn't forget the houtou I had in Yamanashi! So I re-created it at home. The thinly sliced mochi and the flour coating the udon noodles thicken the sauce. That thick sauce is the distinctive feature of houtou.Add meat and other ingredients you like, in addition to the kabocha squash. You can use 6 cups of water + 2 teaspoons of dashi stock granules instead of the dashi stock.I recommend using red miso for this. For 2 servings. Recipe by itarunrun cookpad.japan -
Roasted Chicken noodle soup Roasted Chicken noodle soup
My recipe for a homemade chicken noodle soup. Perfect for a cold evening at home or when a friend or family member is just feeling under the weather. Makes a very large pot and doesn't use exact measurements but very simple and easy to change up and make your own. But instead of boiling my chicken I roasted it and got a much deeper yummier flavor.
