Ghana jollof rice

Cooking Instructions

Wash your tomatoes,pepper, garlic,,ginger,and 2 onions,
put in a blender
blend till its smooth..
put in a pot and cook till the water drys off.. - 2
Prepare your chicken by washing with warm salty water..
put in a pot, add salt and 2 seasoning cube..
blend some onion,ginger,garlic and pepper..add to the chicken,add your chicken seasoning..
stir very well..
steam for about 10min.. - 3
Wash and slice your green pea,carrot,and green pepper
set aside... - 4
Slice the remaining onion and set aside
put a pot on fire
pour in your vegetable oil
pour in your sliced onion,allow to cook for 1min..
pour in your tomatoes paste and stir for 4min..
pour in your cooked blended tomatoes and stir for about 5min.. - 5
When the steamed chicken is ready
strain out the stock and allow to cool.. - 6
Deep fry chicken till its golden brown

Add the chicken stock to the stew stir and allow to cook for 5min..

Add your mixed vegetable and stir (carrot,green pea,green pepper).

Wash and put rice in a clean pot
add water and cook for 6min
drain water from the rice.. - 10
Add the rice little by little to the stew and stir..
reduce the heat to be very low..
cover the pot and allow the rice to steam.. - 11
Your Ghana jollof rice is ready
server with any drink of your choice

This Spinach and Rice/Vegetarian dish is a quick lunch or dinner meal for the whole family. The main ingredient is Spinach, which is and I also consider to be good for you. The additional ingredients give this dish a spectacular boost of taste. There are two ways that this recipe can be cooked either with tomatoes or just plain olive oil…:) Since both are cooked the exact same way all you need to do is to figure out which taste you enjoy more. 🙂Dipping fresh bread into the tomato sauce, and munching on feta cheese just makes this dish even more tastier. 🙂I wasn’t able to provide pictures for this recipe besides the featured image, because of everything that happened with our beautiful dog Marka’s passing. 😦 Foodzesty -

Hum, have some chicken, some veggies, rice, but I don't have time to shop?Here is a quick, easy, one skillet dinner for 2 (or one really hungry person). So is this a fantastic, I would spend a months salary for this in a restaurant? No way. But it is fairly good, easy, quick, and adjustable for what you have on hand. Have tofu or beef instead of chicken, do it. Celery but no carrots, ok, that works. Frozen corn, but no peas, taste great, use it.Since this is using one pan and you are cooking the rice in it, you are getting the extra flavor in the rice from the ingredients, and less clean up.
