Another family fave, I usually roll them out thinner and cook for 10mins to get more servings as these go quickly in our house!

Another family fave, I usually roll them out thinner and cook for 10mins to get more servings as these go quickly in our house!
Cooking Instructions

sift flour, ginger and bicarbonate into a bowl, add sugar and mix

rub in butter until mix resembles breadcrumbs
- 3
add egg and syrup then mix to form a dough
- 4
roll out on a floured surface to 1cm deep and cut with cookie cutters or a tumbler
- 5
place on greased baking sheet and refrigerate for 1 hour

preheat oven to 170'C/gas mark 3
- 7
bake for 10-15mins or until golden brown
- 8
allow to cool slightly before enjoying!
