Ingredients

  1. 2/3 cupsoftened butter
  2. 4 tspprepared mustard
  3. 1/2 cupchopped green onion
  4. 1 loaffrench bread
  5. 5 slicebacon
  6. 5 sliceswiss cheese cut in fourths

Cooking Instructions

    preheat oven to 400°F

  2. 2

    use hand mixer to combine butter, mustard, and green onions

  3. 3

    slice french bread into ten slices. do not slice all the way through, leave attached at bottom

  4. 4

    spread butter mixture on both sides of each slice

  5. 5

    place 2 of the quartered slices of cheese between each slice of bread

  6. 6

    cut bacon slices in half and lay half slice over each slice of bread

  7. 7

    bake 20 to 25 min or until bacon is crispy. serve warm. great as appetizer or to accompany soup and salad.
