Ingredients

  1. 2 1/4 cupflour
  2. 1/4 cupsugar
  3. 1 1/2 tspbaking powder
  4. 1/2 tspbaking soda
  5. 1egg
  6. 1 cupbuttermilk
  7. 1/4 cupmelted butter
  8. 8 slicebacon crumbled
  9. 1 cupkraft shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  10. 1/4 cupchopped fresh chives

Cooking Instructions

    Heat oven to 350. Spray your 8X4 loaf pan. Set aside.

    Mix first 4 ing. In medium bowl. Set aside.

    Whisk egg, buttermilk, and melted butter in separate bowl until blended.

  4. 4

    Add to flour mixture along with the bacon, cheese, chives. Stir just until moistened.

  5. 5

    Spoon into your sprayed 8X4 loaf pan. Bake 45 to 55 minutes or until done. Cool in pan 15 minutes. Then cool on wire rack.
