Easy Ranch Cucumbers

My Grandmother has made this recipe for as long as I can remember. It is a simple recipe that is great as an after school snack!
Cooking Instructions
- 1
Peel and slice cucumbers. You want to slice them about an 1/8 of an inch thick. If you have toddlers, you may want to cut each slice into smaller bite sized pieces.
- 2
Add 1/2 to 1 tablespoon of salt. Just enough to taste but not overpower the cucumber. Children are more sensitive to the taste of salt than adults so make it accordingly if you are making this recipe for children.
- 3
Add 1/4 to 1/2 cup of ranch dressing. You can use any brand or even make your own. You only want to lightly coat the cucumbers. Remember that as it sits in the refrigerator, thr cucumbers will "sweat" and make the dressing more watery.

My children prefer this recipe after it has sat overnight in the fridge but they will eat it freshly made as well.
