Ingredients

  1. 1Gammon joint for 4 people
  2. 1/2 canPineapple
  3. 3 tspHoney
  4. Sweet and Sour Sauce:
  5. 1/4 cuptomato sauce
  6. 1/4 cupcider vinegar or white vinegar
  7. Juice from the pineapple, about a 1/4 of it
  8. 4 tspbrown sugar

Cooking Instructions

    Add the gammon to a roasting dish and cook in the oven 175°C or gas 6 for 30 mins

    To make the quick sweet & and sour sauce:

    In a cup pour a quarter cup of tomato sauce

  4. 4

    Pour in a quarter cup of cider vinegar or white vinegar

  5. 5

    Add a quarter of the pineapple juice

  6. 6

    4 teaspoons of brown sugar

  7. 7

    Mix it all stirring and pour it over the gammon when sliced and to go back in the oven

  8. 8

    Take the gammon out, slice into thick slices put it back in the roasting dish. Pour over the pineapple chunks, add about a cup full of the sweet & sour sauce.

    Then sprinkle the honey on top put back into the oven 170/gas 6 for a further half hour then put it in a seeing dish and serve with crunchy roast potatoes peas or chips if you prefer

It is a passion of mine and I always invite my family around so I can create something new for them to try. my children grew up learning lots from me I have 3 daughters all with their own families and two Sons one who cooks for his family also my youngest son who is still at home with me,he comes up with some lovely meals and ideas so I'm proud of them all. 💜
