Simple Bean Sprouts and Fish Sausage in Sweet and Sour Sauce

I had some leftover bean sprouts, so I came up with a recipe I could make fairly quickly... It was cold out, so I tried it with a thick sauce.
Bean sprouts are great because they're nice and crispy and can be prepared very quickly!
I wrote "one bag" for the bean sprouts, but you can use 200g or 250g--whichever you prefer. For serving 2. Recipe by Maa-a
Cooking Instructions
- 1
Wash the bean sprouts and cut the fish sausages in half diagonally lengthwise. Mix the ◎ ingredients together and set aside.
- 2
Add a bit of oil (not listed) to a pan and fry the fish sausages you prepared in Step 1.
- 3
Once the fish sausages slightly color, add the bean sprouts and mix together with a bit of salt. Add the ◎ mix from the sides of the pan and slowly mix with a circular motion.
- 4
Once it has developed a nice thickness, it's finished.
- 5
Serve it while it's hot!

Pork Belly with Sweet and Sour Onion Sesame Sauce Pork Belly with Sweet and Sour Onion Sesame Sauce
I really love fried chicken topped with onion and sweet and sour sauce. So, I tried a pork version.I think this sauce could be used in many dishes. Easy Meatballs in Sweet and Sour Sauce Easy Meatballs in Sweet and Sour Sauce
I used to include onions in these, but when I started to focus on their softness, I ended up with this recipe. The water that you mix into the meat is pretty key in producing soft, fluffy meatballs!Using katakuriko starch powder gives the sauce a thick texture! These meatballs turn out great not only with ground pork but even with other ground meats or minced chicken. Just halve the amount of egg if you're planning on using minced chicken, because chicken naturally has more moisture to begin with. Recipe by Fumecchi cookpad.japan -
Eggplant, Bell peppers and Chicken with Sweet and Sour Sauce Eggplant, Bell peppers and Chicken with Sweet and Sour Sauce
Green bell peppers and eggplant were in season this summer and autumn in my garden!I added some chicken breast that was on sale for around 100 yen ($1) to make dinner! It looks like sweet and sour pork so I cooked it using a similar sauce. It'll taste better when cooled if you use just a small bit of sauce. It's delicious in bento, too!-It's nice even without doubanjiang spicy bean paste!-Substitute chili oil or ichimi togarashi (japanese red chilli pepper) for the doubanjiang spicy bean paste.-Adding extra bamboo shoot, carrot, onion and shiitake mushrooms would be perfect. Like sweet and sour pork!-Do not stir fry the bell peppers too long or they'll lose their crunchiness.-Reduce the sauce at the end so that ketchup and vinegar are less acidic. Yum! Sweet and Sour Pork Style Meatballs in Sweet Vinegar Ankake Sauce Yum! Sweet and Sour Pork Style Meatballs in Sweet Vinegar Ankake Sauce
A friend of mine told me that they fry leftover hamburger meat mixture and serve it coated with sweet vinegar ankake sauce, so I fried the leftover meat mixture from meat-stuffed peppers and turned them into sweet-and-sour pork style meatballs. The green peppers will change color if you add them in too early, so it is better to cut them up finely and then add them in later. It also tastes great if you add in shiitake mushrooms, bamboo shoots, and quail eggs. The katakuriko will sink to the bottom of the combined flavoring ingredients, so be sure to mix it up again before adding it to the pan.
