Ingredients

  1. 500 gYam
  2. 2 cupsdry potato flakes
  3. 1 cupall purpose flour
  4. 1 tablespoonginger and garlic powder
  5. 1 tablespoonseasoning salt
  6. 1 tablespoonground Black pepper
  7. 2 tablespoonstomato ketchup
  8. 2 cupsvegetable oil (for frying)

Cooking Instructions

    Peel, wash and cut yam into long chunks. After cutting, leave in a bowl of cold water

    In a medium bowl, combine the potato flakes, flour, ginger and garlic powder, seasoning salt and black pepper

  3. 3

    In a deep fryer(or frying pan) heat up your vegetable oil

  4. 4

    Dredge fish fillets in dry mixture and fry in the hot oil for 4-5minutes or till the yam flakes apart easily

  5. 5

    Remove from oil and place on paper towels to absorb excess oil

  6. 6

    Serve warm with the tomato ketchup & enjoy👌
