Ingredients

  1. 1 1/4 cupflour
  2. 1/2 cupnon packed brown sugar
  3. 1/2 tspsalt
  4. 1/2 tspbaking soda
  5. 1/4 tspbaking powder
  6. 1/2 tspcinnamon
  7. 1/2 cupapple sauce
  8. 1/2 cupwalnuts
  9. 1large egg
  10. 2medium egg whites
  11. 3large bananas
  12. 1 cupuncooked old fashioned oats
  13. 3/4 cupground flax seed

Cooking Instructions

    Preheat oven to 350F. In a large bowl, stir together dry ingredients, then add applesauce and eggs.

    In a smaller bowl, mash the bananas. Add bananas, oats, and walnuts to other mixture.

    Spray loaf pan with cooking spray, pour batter into pan and bake until firm to the touch, about 45-55 minutes. Remove from oven and let stand for 5 minutes before flipping it out on a cooling rack.
