Tastes very, very, close to Blue Bell homemade vanilla. This is really easy. No eggs.

Ingredients

  1. 1 3/4 cupsheavy cream
  2. 1 1/4 cupwhole milk
  3. 3/4 cupsugar
  4. 1/4 teaspoonsalt
  5. 1 TablespoonREAL vanilla extract

Cooking Instructions

    Mix all ingredients.

  2. 2

    Pour into ice cream maker canister.

  3. 3

    Let churn for 25-45 minutes depending on machine. Takes mine 30 minutes.

    This tastes great. Freezes well, unlike a lot of homemade ice cream. Would be great with chocolate sauce, fresh fruit, brownies, etc.
