Ingredients

  1. 2 lbsground beef (angus)
  2. 2chopped onions
  3. 6-8garlic cloves (minced)
  4. 4 tbschili powder
  5. 2 tspcumin
  6. 2 tspcoriander
  7. 1 tsporegano
  8. 1/2 tspcayenne
  9. 1 cuptomato sauce
  10. 1 cuphomemade chicken broth
  11. 4 tspcider vinegar
  12. 2 tspbrown sugar
  13. Olive oil
  14. Salt (to taste)
  15. Taco shells
  16. Lettuce
  17. Tomatoes
  18. Cheese
  19. Sour cream

Cooking Instructions

    Heat the oil in a medium skillet over medium heat until simmering. Add the onion and cook until softened. Stir in the garlic, spices, and salt (if desired). Cook until fragrant, about 30 seconds. Stir in the ground beef. Cook, breaking it up with a wooden spoon, until no longer pink.

    Stir in the tomato sauce, broth, vinegar, and sugar. Simmer until thickened.

    Serve with desired toppings. We like tomatoes, lettuce, cheese, and sour cream.
