Tofu and Cucumber Salad with Umeboshi-Sesame Dressing Tofu and Cucumber Salad with Umeboshi-Sesame Dressing
I made this when I was out of dressing. It was really good, so I've been relying on it ever since. This is also good with mizuna greens or green bell peppers instead of cucumber. If you leave it standing for too long the tofu will start to exude moisture, so I recommend making it just before you plan to eat it. Cold Salad-Style Udon Noodles with Tomatoes and Shiso Leaves Cold Salad-Style Udon Noodles with Tomatoes and Shiso Leaves
I was introduced to these delicious udon noodles that I can microwave instead of boiling, so I made a delicious and refreshing dish that is easy to make even on a hot summer day.The fried onions are a must. Please be sure to use them. They add rich flavor and a crunchy texture, and give regular udon noodles a twist. It's just regular udon noodles if you don't add fried onions.Pour in the mentsuyu as is, even if it is a concentrated type. This dish will be even more delicious if you cool it with ice water. Chicken Tender and Cucumber Salad with Umeboshi Mayonnaise Chicken Tender and Cucumber Salad with Umeboshi Mayonnaise
This is the recipe that is the basis for "Chicken Tender and Cucumber Shira-ae with Umeboshi Flavor". I didn't think it was worth posting as a separate recipe, but putting it in one recipe made it too long so I separated the recipe.I used honey marinated umeboshi that weigh about 15 g with the pits (the same ones I used forto make "Chicken Tender and Cucumber Shira-ae with Umeboshi Flavor"). Adjust the amount to your taste. This is delicious with the addition of julienned green shiso leaves mixed in or topped as a garnish. Recipe by Sabumochi cookpad.japan -

Cabbage and Wakame Namul-Style Salad Cabbage and Wakame Namul-Style Salad
A quick and easy side dish. It has surprisingly reached 5,000 reviews! It was also featured in a vegetable recipe book. Thank you, everyone! The origin of this recipe: Mixing with mayonnaise is easy and tasty, but I wanted to make it a bit healthier with a namul style... though using sesame oil might defeat the purpose (^^;). nyaroTranslated from Cookpad Japan -

Izakaya Style Shio-koji Salad with Pea Sprouts and Cabbage Izakaya Style Shio-koji Salad with Pea Sprouts and Cabbage
I use a salt-based dressing for this salad which my husband loves. He likes it so much that we run out right away.I recommend this dish because it contains plenty of vitamins and minerals! It's much tastier if you let it sit in the fridge for about 10 minutes after mixing. Cabbage loses its crunchiness and moisture if you let it sit for too long. I find it best to let it sit for about 10 minutes. It's also good mixed with cucumbers and carrots.
