Imli aloo bukhara sharbat Tamarind and plum drink

My mother used to make this drink every summer.
She soak imli ( Tamarind ) and aloo bukhara ( plum ) in the mud pot over night and next morning cook for few minutes , then strain with strainer. Then let it cool down And pour it back in mud pot.
Imli and aloo bukhara drink is a refreshing sweet and sour drink to quench your thirst in the hot areas and hot summer season. This drink is best to beat sunstroke and dehydration.
This refreshing drink will make your aftar menu, tempting and refreshing.
Please try once to Make it and you can store it minimum for one month in refrigerator, and you can freeze for arround 3,4 months.

Ingredients

3,4 people
  1. 1/2 cupTamarind pulp
  2. 1/2 cupplum pulp
  3. Jaggery to taste
  4. Salt to taste

Cooking Instructions

    Soak plums in water for 30 minutes

  2. 2

    Add plums and water in a pan and cook it on medium flame. Until softened.
    Let it cool and remove the pits.

    Imli pulp and jaggry add in blender.

  4. 4

    Add black salt and plums pulp,

  5. 5

    Blend it nicely and strain if needed.

    Pour in a jug. And serve chilled
    You can add ice cubes if needed.
