Today I was running late for dinner. Couldn't really decide what to cook when suddenly I thought of making chana pulao, quick and easy.

Ingredients

30 mins
4 servings
  1. 2 cupsrice
  2. 250 gchickpeas
  3. 1medium onion
  4. 1 tbspginger garlic paste
  5. 1.5 tspzeera
  6. 2black cardamom
  7. 1 inchcinnamon
  8. 6cloves
  9. 7peppercorns
  10. 1chicken cube
  11. 3 cupswater
  12. 2Green chillies

Cooking Instructions

    Fry onion till light golden and add garam masala

  2. 2

    Keep mixing unless the onion becomes golden brown and garam masala becomes fragrant. Add ginger garlic paste.

    Add chickpeas to it. After adding chickpeas, add 2 xhicken cube mixed I'm 1 cup of water. And cover the lid

    After 5 mins, add rice to the chickpeas gravy. Add more water. Adjust salt. I had to put 1 tbsp salt

    Keep the flame high until water evaporates before putting in dum.

    Add Green chillies. Put on dum for 20 mins. Serve with salad of your choice, chutney and raita.
