After a long tiring shopping day, I just made imli chutney. Didn’t get a chance to make it but samosa and pakora need this sweet and sour chutney.

Ingredients

20 mins
  1. 500 gmsTamarind (imli)
  2. 2Gurr blocks
  3. 6-7dates without seed
  4. 3 tbssugar
  5. 1/2 tspblack salt
  6. 1 tspred chili powder
  7. 1 tsproasted cumin powder
  8. 1/2 tspchaat masala
  9. 1 tspginger paste

Cooking Instructions

    Soak imli in water for 2-3 hours. Then take it out seeds. Take dates and deseed date also.

    Pour mixture of tamarind into blender with deseeded dates. After blending mixture, pour in the pot or pan and turn on the flame.

    Stir it for 5 mins the. Add gurr and ginger.

    After 5 mins add sugar, black salt and chili powder

  5. 5

    Followed by cumin powder and chaat masala

  6. 6

    Stir continuously for 5 min. Till then the gurr dissoce and the consistency neither be too watery nor too thick

  7. 7

    Pour in bottle and keep it in fridge. Enjoy with samosa and pakora on iftar.
