Tamarind and apricot sauce

Ingredients

  1. 250 gram /1-1/2 cupTamarind pulp
  2. 100 gramDried Apricots
  3. 1 TbspCumin seeds
  4. Half tspRed chilli powder
  5. 1 cup or as requiredSugar

Cooking Instructions

    In a pot, pour tamarind pulp,dried apricots(soaked in water), red chilli powder, cumin seeds,and sugar. Mix them well and cook for 5-10 minutes until the sauce starts to boil.
    After this, turn off the flame and let it cool.Then blend it in a blender. Your tamarind and apricot sauce is ready.

    Note:Before making it,wash tamarind and apricots with water.
    Then,soak tamarind in 1 cup of water and dried apricots
    in half cup of water for an hour.
