Quick Chewy Basic Naan in a Bread Maker

This is a recipe for naan that I serve with curry.
If you don't have all purpose flour, you can use bread flour or 160 g of bread flour + 40 g of cake flour.
If you cook them over high heat, they may burn on the out side while the inside remains uncooked. So, cook slowly over low-medium heat. Recipe by Natsumi

Cooking Instructions
- 1
Add all the ingredients in a bread maker, select the pizza dough setting and start.
- 2
When the dough is done, take out from the bread maker and divide into 4 pieces. Roll with your hands to make four balls.
- 3
Punch down each ball and flatten out with your hands or a rolling pin. (It will puff up when cooked so roll out as thin as you can.)
- 4
Heat a pan with out oil and place the naan in it. Cook the naan over low heat until golden brown on both sides (or bake in the oven).
- 5
Once you've cooked them all, you're done. Enjoy with curry.

I recreated the naan served at my favourite Indian restaurant. The menu says it is hand-stretched naan made with a generous amount of milk, so I included a lot of milk in this recipe.Keep an eye on it, or it will burn! It depends how strong the heat is, but it takes me 5-6 minutes to grill each naan. Recipe by Puriman cookpad.japan -

Easy & Authentic Naan Bread Easy & Authentic Naan Bread
I wanted to make freshly cooked naan at home, so I cam up with this recipe. Please be sure to bake the naan on the at a high temperature. It will be nicely browned, as delicious as authentic Indian naan is. For the all purpose flour, use Lys d'Or or a flour that is specifically meant for French-style bread. If you can't get all purpose flour, use half each of cake and bread flours.I added baking powder to the recipe to improve it. If you don't have any though, you can just omit it. I wanted to eat naan that's chewy and moist like the naan at Indian restaurants.By spreading the dough with oil, it becomes easier to flatten, and doesn't stick to your hands.Stretch the dough out in your hands, rather than rolling it outMake the dough bumpy rather than uniformly flat. Delicious Naan Bread Delicious Naan Bread
Naan made only with bread flour tends to be tough, and only with cake flour only is not chewy enough, so I wanted to make a personalized version. This is the absolutely best naan I've ever made! Eat with keema curry. If the dough sticks to your hands, dust with a little bread flour when forming the dough. When putting the dough in the frying pan, roll it out a bit while cooking. If you use a generous amount of olive oil, the naan will stay tender and delicious even after time! Super Easy, No-Rising Naan Bread Super Easy, No-Rising Naan Bread
I love naan that's chewy on the inside and crispy on the outside, but proofing bread is such a hassle.I experimented with many different unleavened bread recipes before settling on this one.No need to grease the pan if using a non-stick frying pan.Grease the pan with a minimal amount of oil. Use your fingers or a paper towel to spread it thinly. (If you use too much oil, the naan won't have that crisp "naan-like" finish.) Recipe by Rurumiko cookpad.japan -

I usually buy frozen naan at an Indian grocery store, but I wanted to easily whip up a fresh batch so I made these. It seems like a pain to coat the bowl with oil, but if you do, the risen dough won't stick so don't omit this step. Recipe by estrella7 cookpad.japan -
Air Fryer Naan / Flat Bread Air Fryer Naan / Flat Bread
I love Naan especially fresh and hot. It is surprising easy to do in your air fryer and because you are using an air fryer, you don't get any smoke like you do when you use a cast iron pan. This recipe is super flexible. You can use different sweeteners though they need to be sugar in nature for the yeast to work. As well, you can mix in things like dried fruit just before you let the dough prove; make sure your mix ins don't contain salt or too much moisture. If you want something that is whole wheat based, you can swap 2 cups of flour for it.If you feel like adding some seasoning to the rolled out dough before you air fry it, that works too. Just remember that seasoning in the air fryer goes a long ways Chris Jordan -

Naan bread is really the perfect accompaniment to Indian curry. This is not like making risen bread, so you don't have to strictly adhere to the rising and resting times. Just knead, form and cook! Herb Naan Bread Herb Naan Bread
I learned how to make my own naan about a year ago. I loved the fresh flavor and ease of making it at home. Also loving Greek food and tzatziki sauce I thought to combine the flavors. Oh so yummy! Serve this as a bread on the side, place in grilled meats and sauces and wrap or enjoy in so many ways. Building flavors starts here. Taylor Topp Comacho
