Steps

Wash and soak both the dals together atleast for 2 hrs.

Then boil the dal and keep aside. There should be very less water in the dal.

In a kadhai take some oil. Add jeera, curry leaves, finely chopped green chillies and as it crackles add all masalas and saute for a min. Add the boiled dal and little water and give it a boil. Serve hot with roti, onion and green chutney.
