Ingredients

2 servings
  1. 4bread slice, chopped
  2. 1onion, finely chopped (big)
  3. 2tomato, finely chopped
  4. 1/2 cupcoloured bell pepper, finely chopped
  5. 1 tspmustard seeds
  6. 1 green chilli, finely chopped
  7. 5-6curry leaves
  8. 1 tspginger-garlic paste
  9. 1/2 tspred chilli
  10. 1/2 tsp cumin powder
  11. 1/2 tspturmeric powder
  12. to tasteSalt
  13. 1 tbsptomato ketchup
  14. 1/2Drizzle of lemon juice
  15. As requiredSev, to garnish

Steps

  1. 1

    Heat oil in pan, add mustard seeds and let it crackle.

  2. 2

    Now add curry leaves, followed by onion, ginger-garlic paste and green chillies.

  3. 3

    Saute this until onion turns light in colour.

  4. 4

    Now add tomatoes, salt, cumin powder, red chilli and turmeric powder. Let it cook until tomatoes are soft and mushy.

  5. 5

    Now add capsicum and saute for 1 min.

  6. 6

    Next add ketchup and lemon juice and mix well.

  7. 7

    Lastly add bread pieces and coat them well in masala. Saute until it coats evenly.

  8. 8

    Sprinkle sev and serve.
