Speedy hummus

Just returned from holiday and too exhausted to bother with the food processor (it lives at the back of the cupboard) so I popped everything into the pestle and mortar. So easy, super speedy and delicious! It’s also great for making a small quality.

Just returned from holiday and too exhausted to bother with the food processor (it lives at the back of the cupboard) so I popped everything into the pestle and mortar. So easy, super speedy and delicious! It’s also great for making a small quality.

Peel the garlic and mash with a pinch of salt in the pestle and mortar. Add the chickpeas, tahini and lemon and continue to mix until you have you preferred consultancy.

Put in a serving dish and top with the remaining chickpeas and a sprinkle of paprika. You can also add a little olive oil if you wish.
