Manchow soup

A bowlful of hot piping soup and a rainy day.....what a romantic cocktail.

Chinese dishes are cooked on high heat. For that we have to prepare this soup by keeping the oven flame on high level.

First heat the pan for 5 minutes then pour oil into the pan. Add ginger and garlic accordingly. Now sauté for 1 minute.

Next add all the diced vegetables (starting with carrots and finishing with onions) except green onions as well as the green chillies. Cook for 2-3 minutes and then add 3+1/2 cup of water accordingly. Now add green chilli, salt and black pepper and mix well.

Let the soup come to the boiling point. In the meantime take the remaining 1/2cup water in a bowl and mix all the sauces along with vinegar as well as cornflour. Pour this mixture over the boiling soup and stir well. Finally beat the egg well and add it into the soup along with the sliced green onions. Cover the pan with a lid over it.

After 5minutes of standing time the famous MANCHOW SOUP is ready for serving hot with fried crispy noodles and fresh coriander on top.
