Ingredients

  • 1 1/4 cupflour
  • 1 1/4 tspbaking powder
  • 1/2 tspsalt
  • 3 tblsp room temp butter
  • Milk to make dough
  • You can add chopped parsley, coriander or cumin seeds if you lik

Steps

  1. 1

    Mix dry ingredients - flour, baking powder, salt

    Rub in butter

    Add milk to form into a thick lumpy dough

    Drop tablespoonfuls into hot soup or stew that's already almost done. Make sure to add half a cup of water into stew before adding the dumpling or the stew will end up top thick

  5. 5

    Let cook, with lid on, on low heat, for 15mins undisturbed. Dont lift the lid or you will let the steam escape.

    Serve hot! Garnish with parsley
