Steps

Add tuvar daal in cooker.

Now add red chilli powder, turmeric powder, tomato, and water.

After 3-4 whistles mash the daal.

In the other pan make a tadka for daal.

To make tadka heat oil or ghee add garlic cloves, curry leaves, jeera, rai daana, green chilli

And add tadka in a daal.

Now add tamarind chutney and jaggery.

Now add some water if required.

Mix well and add salt as your taste.

Cook for 3-4 minutes.

Now add coriander leaves and turn off the flame.
