Ingredients

3-4 serving
  • 1 cuptuvar daal
  • 1 tablespoonred chilli powder
  • 1 tablespoonturmeric powder
  • 1 tablespoontamarind chutney
  • 1 tablespoonjaggery
  • 1 tablespoonLarge tomato finely chopped
  • as per taste Salt
  • 1 bunchCoriander finely chopped
  • 3-4garlic cloves finely chopped
  • as required Water
  • 1and 1/2 tablespoon Oil aur ghee
  • pinchjeera
  • pinchmustard seeds
  • 3-4Green chilli paste

Steps

  1. 1

    Add tuvar daal in cooker.

  2. 2

    Now add red chilli powder, turmeric powder, tomato, and water.

  3. 3

    After 3-4 whistles mash the daal.

  4. 4

    In the other pan make a tadka for daal.

  5. 5

    To make tadka heat oil or ghee add garlic cloves, curry leaves, jeera, rai daana, green chilli

  6. 6

    And add tadka in a daal.

  7. 7

    Now add tamarind chutney and jaggery.

  8. 8

    Now add some water if required.

  9. 9

    Mix well and add salt as your taste.

  10. 10

    Cook for 3-4 minutes.

  11. 11

    Now add coriander leaves and turn off the flame.
