In a bowl, soak the baobab fruit (the seeds)in lukewarm water for a few hours (ideally overnight). Use about 2 cups of water to soak the fruit – depending on the quantity. Once soft, separate the fruit from the seeds with clean hands and strain the juice into a jug. You can also use a clean cloth to strain the juice if you would prefer it less pulpy.

Add some sugar(according to your taste) and more water to the strained baobab juice or simply enjoy it as a smoothie. If you prefer, also add a bit of freshly crushed ginger and little brown food color is optional. Put it in refrigerator.It is preferable to drink it cold
