My son is a foodie and He loves maash daal. Making daal maash is a real challenge for me. Tried many time but it was not upto his mark.Finally many attempts makes it possible to be successful in this challenge. Ab tu jaldi jaldi farmaish hoti hay. Alhamdolillah

Steps

Clean, wash and soak maash daar for 1/2 an hour.

I always cook mash daal like we cook rice. I should not be over cooked.

Take 2 glasses of water and boil it.

Add salt, kuti lal mirch, chicken powder, haldi,chopped ginger and garlic.

Cook daal on medium flame till complete water dries.

Take khalis ghee in a pan add chopped onion and fry it brown.

Add zeera and garlic in it and sauté for 2 minutes.

Add chopped tomatoes and chopped green chillies in it.

Bhonofy masalah then add mash daal in it, add garam masalah and mix it.

Keep daal on dum for 10 minutes.

For tarka : take butter in a pan and add button chillies.

Fry chilli till colour changes to darker side.

Give tarka to daal. Enjoy with homemade roti and applybutter on it.
