  • 2.2 lbsoxtail (about 1 kg)
  • 1onion
  • 2 clovesgarlic
  • 1red bell pepper
  • flour
  • olive oil or your preferred cooking oil
  • salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper (optional)
  • white wine

    Season the oxtail with salt and pepper, dredge in flour, and brown in a skillet or Dutch oven.

  2. 2

    Chop the onion, garlic, and red bell pepper, then sauté them together until softened.

  3. 3

    Add the browned oxtail, pour in white wine, and let it reduce; cover with water or beef broth. When the meat is tender, remove it and blend the sauce until smooth.
