
Rice cooker Garlic and Green Onion Chicken thighs

An easy recipe with minimal clean up, you simply add the chicken thighs in the steamer portion of the rice cooker, whilst cooking 2 cups of rice in the cooker pot. :D (image coming soon)

An easy recipe with minimal clean up, you simply add the chicken thighs in the steamer portion of the rice cooker, whilst cooking 2 cups of rice in the cooker pot. :D (image coming soon)
Steps

Wash enough rice for 2 cups of rice, add to cooker pot with the correct amount of water. (Add garlic if desired)

In a small bowl combine: chopped garlic, sesame oil, shio koji, sake and 1 dash of shichimi togarashi

Chop the green onion into 1/2 inch pieces, set aside.

Gently lift the skin of the chicken thighs and fill the insides with 1/2 of the seasoning mix, dividing evenly between the two.

Rub the remaining 1/2 of the seasoning mix on top of the chicken skins and bottoms. Add 1 dash of shichimi togarashi on top.

Place the chicken thighs into the steamer portion of the rice cooker, place the green parts of the the green onion on top of the skin, place the white parts in between and around the chicken thighs.

Close the rice cooker lid and set it the the "White Rice" setting on your cooker.
