Ingredients

4 servings
  • 400 gor so of tinned chickpeas
  • 1chopped onion
  • Slicewhite bread
  • 2 tablespoonsmustard
  • 1large egg
  • Some fine breadcrumbs + panko for coating
  • to tasteSalt
  • Oil for frying
  • Buns, salad and sauce of your choice

Steps

  1. 1

    Using a food processor, whizz up chickpeas, onion, bread and egg. When you have a smooth consistency, put in a bowl. Add mustard, salt and mix. If mixture seems too soft, add some breadcrumbs, mix well

    Add mustard and mix again. Divide mixture in four. Coat in panko breadcrumbs. Heat oil in a large pan. Fry on medium heat

    Turn a few times during cooking. Serve and enjoy 😀
