This recipe was taught to me by a Bengali friend, who was learning how to make Ghia ki kheer from me. I had reserved the bottle gourd peels to make a chutney, when my friend suggested to make some fritters out of them, to be had with 'cha' on that cold winter evening. And then I learnt this recipe of' Lou er Khosar Bora'.

Steps

Wash and cut the bottle gourd peels into thin julienne.
- 2
Take all the other ingredients except oil for frying and add into the cut peels. Mix well
- 3
Add little water(about 2 tbsp) to it in case required. Mix well. Leave for 5 minutes.

Meanwhile heat oil in a wok/karahi. Deep fry small balls of the mixture, till golden brown.

Drain the fritters and serve.
