Ingredients

  • 500 gokra
  • 5 clovesgarlic, finely minced
  • 4tomatoes, diced small
  • Oil or olive oil
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Pinchginger
  • Pinchcumin
  • 1/2 cupwater
  • Chopped cilantro

Steps

  1. 1

    In a pot, heat the oil, garlic, spices, and salt. Sauté them a little, then add the tomatoes and sauté a bit more.

    Add the okra and water. Once it boils, reduce the heat and let it cook until done.

    Serve it on its own or with rice, and garnish with cilantro.
