Halwa's are very traditional .We specially used to make them in winters.They are very yummy and healthy .In my house its my duty to make halwas .I make all type of halwas .My family members call me halwa expert. So presenting my complete recipe with pictures of cooking steps

Soak Chana Daal over night then put it in the pressure cooker,pour milk and put Cardamon in it.Boil it

Then on slow flame keep stirring continously to make it a paste

Keep stirring continuosly and add little oil

Again keep stirring and add more oil

Keep stirring and add 1 cup sugar

Keep stirring,sugar will melt and it comes in liquid state

Keep stirring and add 1 cup more sugar

Keep stirring till water gets dry and halwa leaves the bottom of the wok and add kewra water to it

Take out halwa in a already greased tray with little oil

Spread the halwa on the tray

Make lines over it to make pieces

Sprinkle Chopped Almonds and Pistachios over it

Take out halwa pieces and decorate them on the dish

Now put them in a container and eat whenever you want
