Ingredients

  1. 1 cupmaida
  2. 1boiled mashed potato
  3. 1 tspbaking powder
  4. 1/2 tspbaking soda
  5. 1/2 cupthick curd
  6. 2-3 tbspwarm milk (if required)
  7. 2 tbspbutter melted
  8. 4 tbsppowdered sugar
  9. as required Oil for dip frying
  10. For chocolate glaze:
  11. 1/2 cupheavy whipping cream
  12. 1/2 cupsemisweet chocolate finely chopped (or chocolate chips)
  13. 2 tbsplight corn syrup for shining
  14. 1 teaspoonvanilla extract
  15. For Yogurt glaze-
  16. 1/4 cupthick yogurt
  17. 1 teaspoonvanilla extract
  18. 1/4 cupconfectioners' sugar
  19. For garnishing:
  20. some silver balls

Steps

  1. 1

    Mix all the dry ingredients together and then add curd, butter and then slowly add milk(if required) to make a smooth dough by kneading it 10 to15 minutes.

    Cover it and rest it for 30 minutes.

    Again knead the dough.
    and Divide dough equally.

  4. 4

    Then make small balls of from the dough.

  5. 5

    Roll them like roti by greasing the rolling pin with butter.

  6. 6

    Cut them with the help of a glass and the middle portion with the help of a small bottle cap.

  7. 7

    Again cover them and rest it for 10-15 minutes.

  8. 8

    Then dip fry both sides in oil.

  9. 9

    For Chocolate Glaze-

    Place the cream in a small pot over medium low heat, until simmering.

  11. 11

    Pour the hot cream over the chopped chocolate.

    Add the corn syrup and vanilla.
    and Whisk together until smooth.

    Yogurt glaze Method-

    Add all ingredients..

    Whisk together yogurt, vanilla extract, and confectioners' sugar in a bowl until smooth.

    Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before spreading.

    Dip all the prepared donuts into the chocolate glaze and then design with Yogurt glaze.

  18. 18

    Now sprinkle them with sliver balls and sugar sprinklers and serve...With tea.
