Ingredients

4-5 servings
  1. 1 bowlchickpea chhola
  2. 1 cupbasmati rice wash and soak for 20min
  3. 2 tbspfried onions
  4. 2bay leaves
  5. 1/2 tspcumin seed
  6. 1/2 tspfennel seed
  7. 4 podgreen cardmom
  8. 4cloves
  9. 8-10black peppercorn
  10. 1star anise
  11. 2 podblack cardmom
  12. 2Cinnamon stick
  13. to tasteSalt
  14. 1/2 cupchopped coriander leaves
  15. 1/4 cup chopped mint leaves
  16. 1 tsprose water
  17. 1 tspkewara water
  18. 1/2 cupyogurt
  19. as neededFried nuts optional
  20. 1 tbspghee
  21. 6-7string saffron thread soaked in 1tbsp warm water or milk
  22. PinchRed or orange edible food colour
  23. 6 cupwater

Steps

    Take abig utensil add 6cup of water add bay leaf,,2.green cardmom,2cloves,black peppercorn,1inch cinnemon stick,fennel seed boil it, now add rice and salt stir it after 4-5 min or 3/4 done rice strain the rice. Wit help of seive. And wash with cold water to stop cooking in rice.now tke out 1cup of rice and mix colour.

    In abowl put yogurtmix mint and coriander leaves.

    Niw take a thick bottom pan put ghee add whole spices now add rice layered with chhola,yogurt mix,fried onion repeat same 1-2more times.now add saffron,kewara,and rose water. Cover with lid and cook on low medium flame for 10min.

    Your tasty biryani is ready for eat serve with anykind of raita.
