Wash and peel raw plantain. Cut it into small cubes and coat it with turmeric and a pinch of salt and soak it in water for, to remove the stickiness. Then take it out and pat dry it throughly.

Heat oil in a pan and fry the plantains for 15 minutes or until crispy. Keep it aside.

Take water in a saucepan and add jaggery. Mix well and boil until one string consistency.

Now add cumin and cardamom powder into this. Mix well and add in the fried plantain cubes.

Mix well and add ginger powder.mix until everything gets coated really well. Turn off the heat and let it rest for 2-3 minutes. Now add lightly crushed sugar and mix well.

Cool it and store in air tight containers
