Steps

First in a big pot take chopped carrot,now add 1/4 cup water.Now add turmeric powder,salt as per taste and green chillies. Cover it and cook it until carrot becomes soft and water is avoprated.turn off the gas.

Now in pan,add 1 tsp oil. Now add mustard seeds,grated ginger, curry leaves and dry red chilli. Now pour this tempering on cooked carrot. Then add dry coconut powder.Cook it for 2 minutes.

Kerla style Carrot thoran is ready to serve.
