Ingredients

30 minutes
60 servings
  1. 2 loavesRosen rye and pumpernickel rounds (1 each)
  2. 1 lbBob Evans hot sausage
  3. 1 lbground beef
  4. 16 ozvelveeta cheese
  5. 1/2 tspgarlic powder
  6. 1/2 tspworcestershire sauce
  7. 1 tsporegano
  8. 1/2 tspfennel seed

Steps

30 minutes
  1. 1

    Cook sausage and drain well, add fennel seed to the sausage. Set aside.

  2. 2

    Cook ground beef and drain well. Add cheese to ground beef.

  3. 3

    After cheese melts, add the garlic salt, worcestershire sauce, oregano, and sausage. Mix well and put on rye or pumpernickel slices.

  4. 4

    Bake at 400 degrees for 15 minutes on cookie sheet.

  5. 5

    These can be frozen before baking, then later baked at 400 degrees for 15 to 20 minutes.
