Firstly chopped the tomatoes.
Then wash the toor dal and pressure cook it along with chopped tomatoes, salt, black pepper and turmeric powder for three whistles in the pressure cooker. - 2
After whistle of cooker switch off the flame.

Now take pan add ghee heat it, then add mustard seeds splutter them, add asafoetida, Kasuri methi.

Then put seasoning in cooked dal and serve with rice, chapati.
