Ingredients

  • Cadbury batter:
  • 70 grunsalted butter (room temperature)
  • 100 grCadbury Chocolate (melted)
  • 75 grgranulated sugar
  • 1/2 tspvanilla essence
  • 1 pinchsalt
  • 1/2 tbscocoa powder
  • 1large egg
  • 45 grall purpose flour
  • Green tea batter:
  • 70 grunsalted butter (room temperature)
  • 100 grwhite chocolate (melted)
  • 75 grgranulated sugar
  • 1/2 tspvanilla essence
  • 1 pinchsalt
  • 1/2 tbsgreen tea powder
  • 1large egg
  • 45 grall purpose flower

    Preheat oven to 350°F or 180°C. Spray an 8 by 8 inch square pan with non stick cooking spray or grease it with butter and lay the bottom with parchment paper. Set aside.

    In a large bowl cream together the sugar and butter until fluffy, and the color change into a bit pale. Add the egg, and vanilla essence. Beat until all combined.

    Add the melted chocolate and whisk.

  4. 4

    Add the dry ingredients and mix everything together until it’s incorporated but don’t over mix them.

  5. 5

    In the other bowl, do the same method for the green tea batter

  6. 6

    After all of the batters have been prepared, pour the cadbury batter into the prepared pan first (save 1/4 of the batter for the third layer), and next followed by the green tea batter on the top of the chocolate batter. Scoop the rest of the chocolate batter using a spoon and put them in a row above the green tea batter.

    Swirl them to make the marble pattern using a bread knife

  8. 8

    Bake for about 40 to 45 minutes or until when a toothpick inserted in the middle comes out with moist crumbs but not wet batter.

    Cool for about 5 minutes in the pan and then transfer them to a cooling rack to cool completely. Cut into bars and serve.

Is this easy to make? how long will it take to make? because i wanted to make this for a school project and we have 2 hours only! i really am struggling to find a Japanese dessert thats easy to make!
