Firstly soak chana overnight or at least 7-8 hours in enough water.

Now take chana in the pressure cooker, add a bag making of cloves and cardamom. Add salt and baking soda. Pressure cook till 2 whistles on high flame then lower the flame for 15 minutes.it will boil nicely.

Meanwhile, take 1/2 cup warm water add sugar and yeast.allow it rest for 2 minutes. Now make dough by adding some salt and yeast water.Add water as required. keep in warm place for 40 minutes to rise.

Heat a heavy bottom wok.add2tbsp oil. add asafoetida, cumin, ginger julienne,bay leaf,and anardana.

Add slit green chillies and gram flour.cook on low flame until golden. Add all the spices and 1/2 cup water. Now add tomato puree and mix well.

Add chana and enough water if needed. Boil well. Adjust gravy. sprinkle kasuri methi. Ready to serve.

Heat oil in kadhai. Make balls of help of rolling pin. Fry in hot oil, a delicious punjabi meal is ready to serve hot with chole.
