Nutty blue berry pancakes

We have Blue berries in our refrigerator all through the year. We usually take them with our cereal- They’re low in calories and incredibly healthy, potentially regulating blood sugar levels and aiding heart and brain health. Blueberries are an excellent source of several vitamins, and antioxidants. I like to eat them fresh. Once in a blue moon I make pancake with blue berries. I meticulously selected healthy ingredients when I made the pancakes. I included ground walnut, cinnamon, athimathuram (licoris root powdered) in the batter. Sifted the dry ingredients (all purpose flour, ground walnut, cinnamon, athimathuram, baking powder, baking soda, and brown sugar, salt) to aerate and get rid of lumps. (Walnut and milk are in the puzzle). I probably added more leavening agents, since I did not use eggs. I added melted butter and milk little by little whisking at the same time. I folded blueberries in the thick batter. Over low heat, in a non stick skillet using ½ c of batter I made the pancakes. It was soft and spongy. I spread honey (did not want to use syrups as syrups are loaded with sugar) on the pancake and sprinkled ground walnut over it. The pancake tasted delicious. #goldenapron3
